Your responsibilities
As Technical Director, you are responsible for the technology vision and the continued development of innovation within the organisation. You ensure clear decision-making, strong teams and a technical foundation that is future-proof, secure and of high quality.
- Developing and executing the technology vision and innovation strategy;
- Leading and developing international technology, engineering and/or R&D teams;
- Making decisions on technology choices, platforms and investments;
- Ensuring quality, safety, compliance and technical governance;
- Stimulating innovation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement;
- Working closely with the board and other disciplines across the value chain.

You understand how innovation works in practice and how to embed technology sustainably within an existing organisation. You make complex matters accessible and connect vision with execution.
